JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Two bills are also making progress in both chambers of the Missouri Legislature as the end of the session approaches.
SB369 would ban parking fees within a mile of the Capitol except when enforced by a licensed peace officer.
HB246 would ban parking fees for parking on public streets.
Both bills are still early in the process of the legislature. The senate bill passed out of committee last week. The house bill has been placed on the informal calendar for a third read.
